Foam Assembly Technician | 2 Shifts | €3,149 Gross/month

As a Foam Assembly Technician, you will work hands-on in a modern production environment in Eindhoven. You will cut, shape, assemble and finish foam components, while checking that every detail meets the required quality standards. The work is practical and precise: you will use your hands, work with different materials and techniques, and see the result of your work take shape throughout the day. You will work in a 2-shift system, with proper training to help you learn the processes and become confident in the role. If you enjoy practical work, have an eye for detail and like seeing something go from raw material to a finished product, this could be a very good fit.

What you will be doing

As a Foam Technician, you will work with foam and plastic materials used to protect fragile high-tech components. You will assemble different parts into finished protection solutions, following technical drawings and clear work instructions.

Accuracy is important in this role, so you will measure dimensions, check tolerances and inspect the finishing of the products to make sure everything meets the required specifications. If you notice a deviation or something that could be improved, you will report it to the right colleagues.

Your day-to-day work will include:

Assembling foam and plastic components according to technical drawings and work instructions.
Measuring dimensions and checking tolerances.
Inspecting the quality and finishing of completed products.
Identifying and reporting deviations or possible improvements.
Handling and processing different foam and plastic materials.
Working together with colleagues from production and logistics.
Keeping your workplace clean, organised and safe.

You will work Monday to Friday in a 2-shift schedule:

Morning shift: 06:00 – 15:00
Afternoon shift: 15:00 – 00:00

Weekend overtime is also possible and is paid at an increased rate when applicable.

€3,149 gross per month, including the 18% shift allowance which is paid for every hour worked.
Additional compensation for weekend overtime, when applicable.
Travel costs covered at €0.25 per kilometre for commutes of more than 10 km one way, with reimbursement calculated up to 40 km.
29 vacation days per year.
8.33% holiday allowance on top of your annual salary.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is practical, technically minded and ready to build something long term. You should feel comfortable working with materials, tools and technical instructions.

For this position, we are looking for:

English at B2/C1 level: good enough to follow instructions, ask questions and communicate comfortably at work.
Previous experience working with plastics, preferably in plastic processing or plastic welding.
Comfortable working from technical drawings and using them to carry out your work accurately.
Available to work in two shifts, alternating between morning and evening shifts.
You pay attention to the details and take pride in delivering work that meets the required quality.
A team player who communicates well and enjoys working together with others.
Looking for stability and genuinely interested in growing with a company for the long term.

At the Eindhoven service centre, reusable packaging comes back from customers and goes through different stages before it is ready to be used again. Depending on the department, this can include cleaning, inspection, repair, assembly and preparation for the next shipment.
